About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiva
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was serialized in the magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump between 2015 and 2020. The Shūeisha publisher compiled the manga in a total of 23 volumes and has more than 150 million copies in circulation. The first season of the anime adaptation aired in 2019 and featured a direct film sequel, Demon Slayer: Mugen Trainwhich premiered on October 16, 2020 in Japan and arrived on April 22, 2021 in theaters in Latin America.
The second season began broadcasts in October 2021 and was divided into two arcs: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arca readaptation as a miniseries of the events of the tape Mugen Train; while, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc adapted the eighth arc of the manga.
Aniplex of America provides the following synopsis of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba:
“We are in the Taisho era of Japan. Tanjiro, a good-hearted young man who sells coal for a living, finds his family murdered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the only survivor of him, has been transformed into a demon. Shattered by events, Tanjiro decides to become a ‘Demon Slayer’ so he can return his sister to normal and kill the demon that slaughtered his family. A painful tale of two brothers in which the destinies of humans and demons are intertwined is about to begin…”

What will the third season be about?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will adapt the ninth arc of the original manga of Koyoharu Gotōge. Tanjiro’s next mission will take him to the village of the Nichirin swordsmiths, but enemies are closing in. Supported by Muichiro Tokito, Pillar of the Mist, and Mitsuri Kanroji, Pillar of Love, our hero will face two new members of the Twelve Demonic Moons.
Production team and cast
The series will continue to be run by the Ufotable studio, the animation house behind the first season and the movie. Demon Slayer: Mugen Trainin addition to numerous franchise projects Fate/stay night. The staff will once again be led by director Haruo Sotozaki and Akira Matsushima as character designer and chief animation director.
The series will also return to the original Japanese voice cast headed by:
- Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado).
- Akari Kitō (Nezuko Kamado).
- Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma).
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira).

When it premieres Demon Slayer: Season 3?
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc will begin its broadcast with an hour-long episode on April 2023 and can be seen through crunchyroll in Latin America.
But that is not all! Aniplex announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village-a cinematic experience that brings together the last two episodes of the Red Light District Arc and the first episode of the third season, will be shown in theaters in 80 countries and territories around the world.
Although the full list of territories will be revealed soon, Konnichiwa Festival has already confirmed that Mexico City will be part of the World Tour with an event on March 4, 2023.
