As strange as it sounds, the series of Saw It already has nine different deliveries. However, there is still more on the way. After a small teaser by Josh Stolberg, writer of these films, a couple of months ago, it was recently confirmed that Saw 10 It will be a reality, and it will hit theaters next year.
According to Lionsgate, the production company, Saw 10 is already in development, with Kevin Greutert, responsible for Saw VI Y Saw: The Final Chapter, in charge of the direction. Along with this, it was also confirmed that the new installment will hit theaters on October 27, 2023. This was what Mark Burg, producer of this franchise, said about it:
“We’ve been listening to what fans have been asking for and we’re hard at work planning a movie that both Saw fans and horror fans alike will love. And part of that is giving the reins to Saw VI director Kevin Greutert, who remains a fan favorite throughout the series. More details will be revealed soon.”
Unfortunately, at the moment there are no more details about this project, and it is unknown if Saw 10 will be a sequel to Spiral: From the Book of Saw, or something similar to the classic projects in the series. Considering that there is still more than a year to go before its premiere, it is likely that we will have more information until 2023.
