Popular hip hop singer arrested in Nuevo León.
They accuse “Millionaire” of homicide; they impute it.
Poster of Santa and “Millionaire” They went viral on social networks after the arrest of singer César Renato was announced for the alleged crime of homicide. The online reaction with ironic phrases, funny graphics, speculation and some stereotypes about the musicians did not wait.
The collaborator of the famous band “Cartel de Santa” was apprehended in a restaurant in Nuevo León, in front of dozens of buyers and visitors to the Citadina shopping plaza. The singer is accused of the murder of a 29-year-old boy, identified as José Guadalupe, who was allegedly hit by a blunt force in the head region to the point of death.
It was this fact that mobilized hundreds of music-loving users on social networks, who reacted … not surprised.

Preliminary reports indicate that the “Millionaire” was admitted to a Nuevo León prison while the case is being investigated, which would have occurred on July 15 at an address on Calle San Gabriel, in the Colonia Residencial San Miguel, in Escobedo.

The news grew on Twitter and Facebook in minutes, as Internet users used the case to mock the content of the lyrics that both “Millonario” and Cartel de Santa promote. Some even shared memes about the “thug profile” that musicians present.
“Soon they will see him free just like” Babo “, who murdered his partner Ulises 14 years ago,” commented user @ jamatta900 on Twitter, comparing the case with that of the lead singer of the hip hop band.
Who is “Millionaire”
César Renato and began his musical career in the group “La Mala Influencia”, later, he joined “Babo”, leader of the famous international hip hop band “Cártel de Santa”, and in 2015 he released a solo album.
Together with “Cartel de Santa” the 36-year-old made a film about drug trafficking in Mexico called “Los Jefes”.
The production premiered in movie complexes in Tijuana, Monterrey, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Ciudad Juárez, León, Guadalajara and Mexico City; however, it took three years to shoot and almost as long to get a release date.
Cártel de Santa is a rap and hip-hop band created in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico, which began its activities in 1996. It is composed of the aforementioned main vocalist and Román Rodríguez, “Rowan Rabia” or “Mono”.
