Samsung would present its first tablet with a folding screen in a few months – FayerWayer

Over the last few weeks we have witnessed a ridiculous amount of leaks surrounding Samsung and their upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event.

At this point it is practically an inescapable fact that we will see in that conference the official revelation of Galaxy Watch 5 and the new family of smartphones with a folding screen, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

In fact, some crucial information details, such as the final design of the devices and their technical specifications, have already been completely leaked.

Some of the sources of these leaks are sales sites, such as Amazon, so it is practically a fact that what we already know is the official information.

Samsung would show its folding tablet in half a year

So there are very few surprises left to discover for the event beyond the price. Although this detail also caused speculation about the existence of a surprise announcement.

It’s here that rumors were resurrected that Samsung might show off its first flexible-screen tablet in the Galaxy Unpacked. But it seems that it will not.

According to a report published on the blog of ship, Samsung’s first folding tablet should be presented by the company on the same date that it will show its new Galaxy Tab S9 family.

This means that the South Korean manufacturer would reveal to the world what until now is known by the name of Galaxy Tab Fold, beyond the months of January or February 2023.

The leak report does not have much firm basis, although it states that the company has worked with multiple prototypes for years and they are almost ready to launch a flexible tablet on the market.

According to reports, Samsung will use the Galaxy Z Tab / or Galaxy Flex S series names for this product line, in order to consolidate its position as the leading producer of foldable screens in the market.

The half-year gap between this launch and the presentation on August 10, 2022 would be used by the company to improve the positioning and fame of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

At the moment there are no details about the technical specifications of the tablet and the rest of its qualities that it will integrate.

But knowing Samsung and its problems with leaks, it would be a matter of weeks before having the first data.
