Samsung filters the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra on its website and confirms the ‘notch’

that the products of Samsung leaking before release is no longer a surprise. Moreover, it seems on purpose. This time, apparently, it was the turn of one of the tablets that the company would present in society next month. We talk about the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, of course.

As published 91Mobiles, an image of what would be the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra was posted on a Samsung support page. Although it is a render that at first glance does not say much, one detail in particular feeds the possibilities that it is the largest model in the upcoming line of tablets from the Asian firm: the notch.

As we told you last week, when the technical specifications of all the Galaxy Tab S8 were leaked, this year Samsung would bet on launching an Ultra version. It would not only incorporate a larger screen and a higher capacity battery than the standard and Plus models; too it would be the only one of the three to present the notch for the front camera. This is due to the fact that, unlike its younger sisters, it would come with two 12-megapixel sensors each.

The alleged image of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra appeared on a dedicated page to bixby, Samsung’s virtual assistant. Needless to say, the render in question, which also included a smartphone in the foreground, is no longer available; however, it has been possible to take a screenshot as evidence. In addition, the aesthetics of the device is consistent with that of the designs published by WinFuture in the last days.

This would be the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra

If the information disclosed so far is correct, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra would arrive with a Super AMOLED screen of 14.6 inches and a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels. It would be available in versions of 8 and 16 GB of RAM, while the storage would be 128 and 512 GB.

On the other hand, it would incorporate rear cameras identical to those of the standard and Plus versions -13 MP main sensor and a 6 MP ultra wide angle-, and the battery would be 11,200 mAh. But what is really noticeable about the new tablets from the Korean company is that they would be the first to launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, from Qualcomm.

As for the price of the devices, there is also data, although they are somewhat vague. In the specific case of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, the most recent rumor places it in a range that starts at 1,040 euros and extends above 1,200 euros.

The entire Galaxy Tab S8 lineup is expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S22 smartphone. Although Samsung has not yet confirmed it, the event unpacked in question would be carried out next february 8. And with almost three weeks still to go before reaching that date, it would not be unusual for us to find new leaks.
