Through a video shared on her Instagram account, the Mexican actress expressed her support for women who suffer any type of violence while at home protecting themselves from the coronavirus by sending a forceful message.
“We retreated to our homes to protect ourselves from the threat of Covid-19, but what if our home was a threat in itself. According to UN Women, emerging data shows that violence against women has escalated significantly during the pandemic. That is why it is so important that we take a position against gender violence and show solidarity with women, ”she began.
