ryan reynolds has confirmed that the Wolverine that will appear in Deadpool 3 and he will be played by Hugh Jackman again, he is not the same one we saw in the movies of X Men. She explained it in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada.
“What we offered [a Jackman] It was different enough from the character we all know, and the one he left behind, that playing him gives him something completely new to play and that he’s quite excited to do,” he explained in the interview.
In this way, it reaffirms some previous statements, where it is explained that the character of Wolverine in Deadpool 3 be a variant of the multiverse in which the Marvel Cinematic Universe is immersed. In this way, the resolution of the character that we saw in Logan (2017), directed by James Mangold.
Hugh Jackman confirmed his return as Wolverine in a video posted with Ryan Reynolds, which also officially announced Deadpool 3. It is not a secret that Reynolds has spent years trying to work with the actor and the character again after the fiasco of X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
This does not mean the return of Hugh Jackman to the Marvel Cinematic Universe
Tag them who think this is Hugh Jackman’s official return to character and his official entry into the Marvel Cinematic UniverseThey will probably be disappointed. The actor announced his retirement in 2017, after Logan. And even if he wanted to come back, it would be difficult because of his age, and the associated challenges of doing an origin story or committing to the character over decades.
It seems that this will be something specific, taking advantage of the excuse of the multiverse, to act once again as Wolverine, even if it is an alternative version to the one we all know.
It also doesn’t seem to be an official way to introduce mutants into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Something that is already being done with Namor in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and with Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel in the series of the same name.
Hugh Jackman made Wolverine recognized as one of the most popular superheroes in cinema since his debut in X Men (2000). Helping, incidentally, to turn it, with its ups and downs, into one of the most popular superhero franchises before the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
At the moment very little is known about the plot of Deadpool 3, beyond the return of Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. It has also been confirmed that it will be the first R-rated film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The recordings will begin this May 1, with a view to its premiere on November 8, 2024.
