Where was the race?
They ran for the Mexico Tenochtitlan avenue, which was recently remodeled to offer a unique experience. The start and finish were in front of the Monument to the Revolution.
The starting start time was at 07:00 hours and more than 5 thousand runners participated. Everyone who crossed the finish line was given a race commemorative medal.
The first three places in each category were awarded by the organizing committee in a ceremony in the presence of the general public guests at the start and finish area.
The winners were Rodrigo Villegas García in the male category and Brenda Eunice Flores Muñóz in the female category.
How many races are left?
The runners still have three more races pending towards the same goal: the mexico city marathon.
The next races will be on June 26 with the 12K Split at Trail La Marquesa; July 17 with the Split 16K at Viveros Circuit and August 7 with the Split 30K Reforma Circuit.
