It seems that after all RockstarGames hasn’t gotten past that stage where we saw him embroiled in a number of controversies associated with the game series Grand Theft Auto and it is that a new one has been revealed that directly relates to the next title GTA 6as well as GTA 5 either GTA Online which is why the studio is being criticized again for some moves it has made in the original game in the series.
Well, to make matters worse, the person at the center of this story is a former developer of the Grand Theft Auto franchise, so according to new allegations from Mike Daily who is one of the original programmers who worked on 1997 Grand Theft Auto and Rockstar Games recently issued copyright warnings to videos associated with the game that were uploaded to YouTube.
So Daily, who worked at DMA Design (which eventually became Rockstar North), had previously shared videos containing footage of prototype versions of the GTA game, and apparently went so far as to post these videos for no other reason than to give fans an insight into how Grand Theft Auto was made, To which, Rockstar doesn’t seem to want this information on the internet for a reason, and has been upset.
“I see Rockstar going back to full motherfuckers mode again, issuing copyright notices to any GTA videos they can find, including my two prototype videos” Daily said on Twitter. “So now they’re trying to block all release of anyone’s work on a game, and any old development footage.”
So after this initial message from Dailly, he went on to say that he has now deleted all of his “GTA development stuff” originals that were previously posted online, and also shared a glimpse of a Grand Theft Auto development document that said that “now it will never see the light of day” so despite having helped create Grand Theft Auto, Dailly seems to have no current love for “Rocksuck” as he currently calls the company.
