LaMelo Ball, star of the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets, designed together with Cougar and Adult Swim sneakers based on their favorite animated series: Rick and Morty. This year, the German company marketed the Rick and Morty x RS-X, which is still available in some physical and online stores.
This television series, created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon in 2013, already has five seasons, 51 episodes in total. Although it has been more fickle than normal, maintains a huge legion of followers in the United States and the rest of the world.
The seasons of Rick and Morty can be seen for Latin America on Netflix and on HBO Max.
It’s about Rick Sanchez, an alcoholic, somewhat depressed mad scientist with a grandson named Morty. Both discover that with inventions they can reach the farthest reaches of the cosmos and other parallel universes.
But what are the Puma and Adult Swim sneakers that are part of the LaMelo Ball collection like?
This is the Puma Rick and Morty x RS-X
Puma’s model Rick and Morty is based on the MB.01 of LaMelo Ball, his personalized slippers from the feline company. The colors are in keeping with the style of the Adult Swim series.
The intergalactic adventures of Rick and Morty are reflected in the neon green of these sneakers, with red details and Rick’s face on the inside of the tabs. In the right half it features a red lollipop with Morty’s face.
This is how PUMA describes it in their press release:
“Follows in the lime green footsteps of Ball’s design to pay homage to Rick. The classic silhouette is reinvented with a neon yellow and electric green upper that sits atop a galactic design on the midsole. Completing the shoe is a translucent neon green sole.
