Rick and Morty It is one of the most acclaimed series of recent years. Not content with just the work of Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, Adult Swim has revealed that an anime by Takashi Sanodirector of the adaptation of Tower of Godis already under development.
Sano will be in charge of directing 10 episodes of the anime Rick and Morty, with Telecom Animation Film as the producers. Although this production will be responsible for adapting several themes and moments from the traditional series, this new interpretation will feature completely original elements. This was what Sano commented on it:
“Rick and the gang’s multiverse exploits pose challenges to the family bond, but they always rise to the occasion. It’s a life-affirming sight, and Jerry is no exception. I am honored to have had the opportunity to tell a new story about this amazing family. I hope you enjoy your adventures!”
Previously, Sano worked on the anime shorts for Rick and Morty vs. genocide Y Summer Meets God (Rick Meets Evil), which have more than 10 million views on Adult Swim’s digital platforms. Alongside this, Ninja Kamui, another anime for Adult Swim, was also announced. This project is led by Sunghoo Park, who previously worked on God of High School Y Jujutsu Kaisen 0.
Unfortunately, At the moment it is unknown when these two anime will arrive on Adult Swim. Considering that they were recently announced, it will be some time before we have a trailer and more concrete information.
