Square Enix Montreal presents Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, a new title in the series that tests your aim. We tested it on the Moto G200 to tell you if it’s a hit or a backfire in this review!
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows is the new bet Square Enix Montréal for the saga of Hitman, but now without Agent 47. A group of snipers known as The Shadows They are the characters to control to complete various missions in which they take down characters and the security guards that surround them. But you have to use your ingenuity to get the kills in the most stealthy way possible, by using the environment. We tested it in Moto G200 and we tell you in our review how effective the shot was!
aim at targets
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows It has a simple premise: play as a sniper for hire to annihilate main figures and their security guards. For them, we will use controllable rifles with various commands: move with the touch around the screen to search for victims, zoom in with the crosshairs, reload ammunition, special moves or shoot. But that’s not all, as there is another button that activates a vision that highlights targets, including objects in the environment.
However, not everything is so easy, since you have to resort to stealth or intentional accidents to go unnoticed. How is it achieved? Through the use of what makes up the stage: from windows or bushes so that the bodies are hidden, and falling lamps or sources of electricity that electrocute, among others. Needless to say, it’s all through bullets, since the character doesn’t move, which makes him vulnerable to alerts.
The campaign mode is separated into chapters and levels, with changing maps and rotating objectives. Each successful instance rewards us with experience for our account, based on performance. If we complete the main missions and the secondary ones (interact with specific items on the stage), the prize is even greater.
Facing everything has its trophy
As you progress, you can access suitcases (you can also buy them with real money) that give us items such as character fragments to power them up or improvements for the rifle they carry. At certain times it is necessary to have a certain level in the weapon to be able to play the stages.
Additionally, there is another modality to put yourself to the test: the PVP. In this format we will duel against another player, but without seeing it: only the common figures appear. The first to achieve more points than the other in a limited time is the winner. This raises our rank (or lowers it if we lose) and with this you can unlock characters, among other things.
With the right cartridge
East shooter at a distance it complies with what is fair, with its predecessor hitman sniper (which is paid) as a reference. The only thing it adds are some maps, but the rest doesn’t seem polished or improved. It offers replayability in its levels to get better rewards, a fairly simple PVP system, and simple controls. It can become somewhat repetitive in terms of strategies and tasks to be done.
In terms of graphics, it has its strength, especially in the scenarios. And the music isn’t too great.
How does it feel in the Moto G200?
The 6.8-inch screen Moto G200 with Full HD resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and its 144hz refresh rate that ensures 144 FPS makes it possible to see the map in greater detail, ideal for achieving greater precision in shots, in addition to the possibility of connecting it to the TV via cable ready for for even more inches.
your processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ Octa core It ensures visual fluidity at each level and that the performance will be more than good, without the device being overheated by the demand.
Battery LiPo of 5000 mAh will accompany you on your missions to enable hours of entertainment.

Conclusions
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows feels like a clone of hitman sniper, only with some modifications and without Agent 47. The replayability and missions, together with easy commands, are not enough to put it in a high place among smartphone games. They only highlight the graphic aspects, but with that element alone you cannot compete. To be free to playmay be fine, but Square Enix Montréal it can aim a little higher with upgrades, with the renown of a gaming titan.
