Chris Redfield is an important character in this saga of the Winters family in Resident Evil.
Just over a month after the release of Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition, which includes the DLC shades of rose among the novelties of Winter’s Expansionwe have learned that Capcom also considered other downloadable story content that did not quite make the cut. Chris Redfield was going to star in his own DLCaccording to the latest reports.
Shadows of Rose will star Rose Winters, daughter of Ethan Winters, years after the events of Resident Evil Village. Rose will have to face the Megamiceta, which will take you to visit some of the key locations in this story, such as Dimitrescu Castle, as seen in the latest trailer for the game. Capcom confirmed that this is the end of the Winters family story.
Another DLC starring Chris Redfield
Although it finally seems that it will not come true, the insider Dusk Golem shared through his personal Twitter account information collected from different interviews with Capcom on the occasion of the launch of Resident Evil Village: Gold Edition. Among other curiosities, Capcom reveals that it thought about making a Chris Redield DLC, but decided to focus on Rose for concentrate their resources and efforts.
This DLC that would have taken place at the time of the events of Resident Evil Village would show Chris Redfuield losing his mind due to pressure and regrets Of their acts. Finally, it was decided to bet on Shadows of Rose, which will be a different style of terror from the rest of the game, “A night of fever and nightmares”.
(8/??) Chris DLC was going to be about a Chris who’s losing it, going slightly mad from pressures & guilt, but ultimately the psychedelic Shadows of Rose became too compelling, they wanted to put their all into it.
