Realme continues to do its homework to bring its new personalization layer to more terminals in its portfolio. Realme UI 2.0 has many new features, but the main one is that it is based on Android 11, so it is logical that users and the brand itself want to catch up. The good news comes now for Realme 7 and Realme X2 Pro users.
Realme has a smaller portfolio than some of its rivals, and this can be an advantage to walk firmly but surely in the update process. We recently saw how the Realme X50 Pro 5G received the stable version of Realme UI 2.0 with Android 11, but there are still many terminals that must follow in its wake. Being too long behind other brands is something that penalizes, and Realme knows it.
Realme UI 2.0 for Realme 7 and Realme X2 Pro
However, the firm has just opened the Realme UI 2.0 beta for the Realme 7 and Realme X2 Pro. We are facing the most powerful terminal of Realme in 2019 and one of the most interesting mid-range of 2020. We see how little by little, the myth that only the high-end are updated or do so before devices of the lower price range disappears .
At the moment, the update comes in the form of an open beta, but limited in number of users for these terminals in India. This is not bad news, but rather the opposite. It means that as soon as the terminals pass this period without any notable problems being reported, the company will launch the stable global version in all markets where these two models have a presence, including Spanish.
Arrival and news
The version number that forms this update is RMX2151PU_11.A.71 on the Realme 7 and RMX1931EX_11_C.34 for the Realme X2 Pro. The update will arrive via OTA, when users sign up to the program and go to Settings / System Update, similar to when we want to force the update manually.
Although Realme has not detailed the news, we have known for a long time the main ones of the new version of Realme UI. These include new customization options for the Always On Display feature, as well as a revamped interface or new Digital Wellbeing options, as well as improved overall system performance. Of course, there is no lack of native Android 11 security options such as greater control of permissions to applications.
