It is an open secret. The company itself has revealed that it has plans to launch a flagship smartphone with Qualcomm’s new chipset called Realme Race. Now, it seems that we will soon see a new Realme from the X series on the market.
Last year they opted for MediaTek chips, so again we could see the same trend in the X range. Meanwhile, the company’s new Race line could be the one that integrates the Qualcomm variant. For now, there are many unknowns to solve.
The CEO of Realme Europe has announced the arrival of a new member of the Realme X family for 2021
At the beginning of December 2020, Realme Spain announced a new device with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset. Well, rather it revealed its code name, Realme Race, and that it would arrive with the aforementioned chipset.
Now we have new data. The Realme Race range seems to be completely new, but the current line of X devices will also be present this year, but we do not know what chipset will be inside to give war on the high-end Android.
The CEO of Realme in Europe has posted on his own Twitter account a short preview, saying “X is the future” and people should be “excited”.

We already know that the new Realme X will be different from the Realme Race. Last year, the Realme X7 series had the Mediatek chipset inside it, so it would not be surprising that the future Realme X9 also includes the chips of the Taiwanese brand.
In fact, MediaTek has scheduled a presentation event for tomorrow, January 20, 2021, to showcase its new chipsets. The company claims we will see “brand new Dimensity products” with “superior technology.“
Rumors claim that the new Dimensity chipset will be that of the flagships and will come with a Cortex-A78 main CPU core overclocked to 3 GHz. Other specs, leaked via AnTuTu, suggest a Mali-G77 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM and support. UFS 3.1 storage.
We will have to wait for the Realme company to provide more information about it, and we will completely leave doubts when the new models are officially announced. There is no close date yet.
