Second installment dedicated to the most successful RAM pick-up in the Mexican automotive market. In a previous article, I have detailed the model in all its sections, from the exterior, the interior, the mechanics, the load and the news in terms of sales. Now is the time to know the prices that the brand has revealed for 2023.
The RAM 700, commercial compact pick-up, comes from closing 2022 with a more than positive balance at the national level considering all segments. What are the current prices for each version? Before getting to know them, a brief review of the main characteristics.
Exterior design
Both the front and rear fascia as well as the side shields are presented in textured black. The front is completed with a double grille in black with the “RAM” badge and the air intakes at the ends in the case of the Reg Cab and another set of lighting for the advanced variants. The wheels are 15-inch steel, except on the Laramie, which offers alloy, also 15″.
Inside
The interior layout varies depending on the version. The Reg Cab offers a simple two-seat cabin, while the rest have five seats. In both cases, the upholstery is in darkened Heavy Duty fabric. As standard, the pick-up has frontal airbags for the driver and front passenger, air conditioning, electric power windows and AM/FM radio, USB and Bluetooth connectivity with steering wheel controls.
Engine
The 2023 RAM 700 carries under its hood a 1.3-liter Firefly four-liter gasoline engine, with a fuel capacity of 55 liters. Its power is 98 horsepower at 6,000 revolutions per minute, its torque is 94 pound-feet at 4,000 rpm, and it is driven with front-wheel drive through a five-speed manual transmission.

There are four in total the variants of the RAM700 2023 plus a limited edition. The access to the model is the SLT Regular Cab, the only one with a two-door, two-seater single cab, which is obtained at $301,900. Then comes the SLT Crew Cabthe best-selling RAM in Mexico and the fourth best-selling pick-up in the country, whose price starts at $324,900.
From there we go to the most complete. The Bighorn Crew Cab has an initial value of $354,900, while the list price for the Laramie Crew Cab, the most expensive of the series and with the most exclusive equipment, is $404,900. In addition, a fifth RAM 700 has been revealed as a limited edition of 1,000 units and with a market value of $464,900: the Longhorn Crew Cab CVT.
