Three years have passed since that time and the serial is more established than ever. So much so that, for the first time, this competition will feature a fully electric safety car: the new i4 M50m of BMW.
Introduced just at the beginning of June, this sedan replaces the hybrid sports car from BMW, the i8, whose production was discontinued in mid- 2020. But the new vehicle in charge of the safety of the pilots has everything to be at the height of its predecessor.

The i4 M50m It arrives equipped with two generators, located on each axis, and which together will be able to deliver 544 horsepower, which will allow you to accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in less than 4 seconds, with which you should be able to keep up with competitive motorcycles that deliver up to 160 horsepower.
The new electric from BMW will premiere in the Moto E during the race of Red bull ring what will take place next August 15th.
