Sony not only updated the PlayStation 5 (PS5) with new features and tools, but also made it available to download for gamers. Firmware version 10.50 of the still acclaimed PlayStation 4 (PS4).
As a report published on the website of Hobby Consolesthis patch brings new features to the console, highlighting improvements in stability and optimization.
Now, gamers can access their authorized applications in Settings, those third-party apps and services to which a PlayStation Network account has been linked. When used, certain permissions are granted that can now be managed from the console itself.
In case you want to view and manage the authorized applications, you should go to Settings > Account management > Authorized apps and scan the QR code with a mobile device.
Besides, friends active in PlayStation App will now appear online in friend listsso you can interact better with them and have extra information.
Finally, the update allows display Unicode 15.0 emoji and see which players in a game session are on other platforms for video games that support this function.
