Naming a child is never an easy task. There are endless factors to consider. However, for Chan-yong “Ambition” Kang, one of the most recognized professional players in League of Legends, this decision was quite simple, since the answer was always in front of him.
Through a live broadcast, Ambition revealed that his firstborn will be born next December, which he plans to name Jarvan V. For all the players of League of Legends, this name will be immediately recognizable. However, for those unfamiliar with the MOBA, Kang’s son will pay tribute to the champion known as Jarvan IV.
Although at first glance this may seem like a random selection, the reality is that Ambition and Jarvin IV have a long history together. During the World Championship League of Legends of 2017, the professional player used this champion to lead his team to victory on multiple occasionsand was even selected to be the image of the promotional video of this Tournament a year later, and even got a special skin at Kang’s request.
