It is quite a fact that Star Wars: The Mandalorian It is the most popular series of the space franchise today, this is due to the writing of its chapters and the cute characters. And now that a third season is on the way, its producers are looking for the appearance of special surprises, including a highly anticipated cameo.
During a recent interview, Jon Favreau and Dave Filonithey talked about who they would like to invite to the show, and obviously the name of the creator of the original franchise came up, George Lucas.
Here their comments:
I’m telling you, we’ve been pretty lucky. We’ve got everyone from Mark Hamill to Werner Herzog to Amy Sedaris. But now it’s just a Star Wars fabric. Like he had no idea and now he’s into it, which I love because it’s amazing. George Lucas, that would be the best cameo. It would have to be Baron Papanoida’s son or something. I don’t know, I wouldn’t even speculate on that. It’s hard for me to imagine what that day would be like. Well, he’s been on set when Dave has been directing.

For Disney, The Mandalorian It has been quite an event given that it has done much better than other series related to starwarswith Boba Fett and Obi-Wan sidelined for their lack of spark with fans. This shows that bringing material based on an original character can be more feasible, and given this the next premiere of Andor I would be in trouble.
Remember that the third season premieres in February 2023 through DisneyPlus.
