There is little time left for Pokémon to launch its latest installment Scarlet and Purple. Now that it has announced more than 900 pokémon that come from different generations – adding the new ones that will come with Scarlet and Purple -, the company has a wide range of pocket monsters between which players can make their decisions during the epic battles or have your favourites. And, to the good news of his fans, more and more pokémon are added to the collection of the franchise.
So, with everything coming up this year, even though the company is busy with the details of its game, it doesn’t mean it can’t mitigate the wait of your fans with limited items quite adorable. And, among so many creatures, there are many that have already acquired personality and life in oversized plush toys.
Although it is not the first time that the company has decided to launch some stuffed animals as beautiful as the ones you will see below, judging by the market history of its products, it seems that in the future it could become a trend -especially due to its large size, which is very striking – and the fan community is very excited about the idea of keeping it that way every time a new one is announced to the public.
In fact, the trend of creating giant Pokémon plushies is quite promising within Pokémon.. For many years, the company has been dedicated to launching official soft toys with the size they should be in reality, which has motivated its fans to buy them simply as decoration in their own homes. Some Pokémon that have already graced store shelves include Snorlax, Piplup, Lucario, Psyduck, and lastly, Spheal. But now that another monster has been added to the list, it seems that the company has every intention of continuing that line of production.

Pokémon has recently opened a pre-purchase period for the Garchomp plush. To no one’s surprise, Garchomp is gigantic in size. But this only adds to another growing list of Giant Pokémon. Garchomp fans, a dual-type Dragon/Stone Pokémonwho consider it their favorite pocket creature, are probably interested in having this great soft toy as part of their personal collection.
According to the official Japanese Pokemon Twitter account, pre-orders for the large Garchomp plush have now opened through the Bandai Premium online store. The toy is scheduled to go on sale in Japan next year, around February 2023.. The purchase of the giant Pokemon plush will carry a hefty price tag of 57,200 yen or approximately $390, not including shipping charges. However, fans will have a fair amount of Pokemon in their homes, as the plush is about 180cm wide, has a height of 80cm and a length of about 160cm.

Unfortunately, fans outside of Japan who love the Earth/Dragon-type Garchomp will have to wait for official news that the plush will be available in other regions. The product is incredibly large, and it may take some time for The Pokemon Company to transport it to other parts of the world. That is, if the company actually decides to put the toy up for sale to Western fans. However, with the giant Pokemon Spheal plush recently going on sale in North America, fans are likely hoping that the huge Garchomp plush will hit stores beyond Japan as well.
So don’t be surprised to see a plethora of pokémon in the future for purchase and that fans are sharing their large collections of adorable plushies with other fans.
