The long-awaited foldable phone from Google, the Pixel Foldapparently first appearedweeks before its rumored release at the I/O developer conference in May 2023.
According to a report published on the website of Slash Gearthe insider Kuba Wojciechowski has shared a short hands-on video of a foldable phone: The Verge confirmed that it was indeed the Pixel Fold.
The fundamental design of the foldable phone in the leaked video is eerily similar to the renderings that have appeared on the internet in recent months.
What stands out the most in the mobile video is the rather boxy profile of the phone. Instead of a conventionally tall aspect ratio as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, Google’s foldable takes inspiration from the Oppo Find N2. However, Google’s foldable has some unconventional thick bezels at the bottom of the interior foldable panel.
There’s nothing standout about the hinge design either, but unfortunately, we can’t see the back of the phone in its closed state.

Notably, both displays offer a 120Hz refresh rate. At the heart of the phone is Google’s Tensor G2 SoC, with a generous 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a Titan M-series chip for security.
