According to a report published on the website of nintenderosthe game’s age rating has been filtered by Pan European Game Information (PEGI), the European video game content rating system established to help European consumers make informed decisions when purchasing video games or apps by using age recommendations and content descriptors.
Curiously, PEGI has listed Pikmin 4 as a PEGI +8 gamethat is, higher than the classification of the previous video game, Pikmin 3, released in 2013 and with the PEGI +3 label.
Nintendo has not reported anything about it and the reason for the change is unknown, but it is a sample of the work in the development of the video game that the great N has been doing.
