Last week Devolver Digital released a new indie gem with Cult of the Lamb, a game developed by Massive Monster in which you become the leader of a cult. It seems that Cult of the Lamb has had a successful launch and Phil Spencer He is one of the players who are enjoying it, in addition to the fact that he has done a slayer tribute with his followers.
In Cult of the Lamb we become a lamb that comes back to life with the mission of creating a sect in the name of “the one who waits” and end the bishops who imprisoned him, so it has a very metal theme but with adorable graphics, similar to the style of Happy Tree Friends (but without so much gore).

On the day of its launch, Devolver Digital made a post on Twitter sharing the trailer for Cult of the Lamb, and a couple of hours ago Phil Spencer responded by saying that he is having a great time with the game and congratulating Massive Monsters on its release. That’s not all, as Phil Spencer revealed that he has a metalhead heart and is a fan of Slayer.
“I keep naming my followers after Slayer songs, it seems appropriateSpencer said in her post. When asked by Xbox’s Emanuela Zaccone what she had named her sect, Phil replied that she took the name of an album and named it Reign in Bloodin honor of the album slayer from 1986.
Cult of the Lamb is an excellent game developed by Massive Monster that manages to perfectly combine the roguelite genre with life simulators, as it feels like it has the most addictive elements of Stardew Valley and Hades in an occult-themed presentation. Cult of the Lamb is available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam on PC.
