According to Statista, until November 27, 2022, a total of 165 countries used the Pfizer vaccine to immunize their population against Covid.
The American pharmaceutical company Pfizer has released a statement to clarify the situation that has been triggered since a video went viral on social networks where one of its employees stated that the company is interested in mutating the covid virus.
What’s all the controversy about?
Yesterday we told you about a video posted through the Project Veritas twitter account where a Pfizer employee identified as Jordan Trishton Walker appeared, director of research and development and mRNA science planner at Pfizer, commenting that pfizer is interested in mutating the covid virus in order to get ahead of the creation of new vaccines.
The controversy did not stop there since the Pfizer employee was confronted by the journalist James O’Keefe, founder of Project Veritas. The Pfizer employee at the time of being questioned by the journalist became defensive and began to get upset inside the establishment where he was.
The confrontation ended in Jordan taking the tablet from the journalist where he had the video with the employee’s confession to destroy it on the spot. It is worth mentioning that throughout the video the Pfizer manager alleges that he was “lying” to impress the person with whom he had an appointment at the time.
BREAKING: @Pfizer Exploring “Mutating” COVID-19 Viruses For New Vaccines
“Don’t tell anyone this…There is a risk…have to be very controlled to make sure this virus you mutate doesn’t create something…the way that the virus started in Wuhan, to be honest.”#DirectedEvolution pic.twitter.com/xaRvlD5qTo

Pfizer’s response
It should be noted that the hidden camera video where the Pfizer employee reveals the company’s interest in modifying the Project Veritas covid virus was published on January 25, 2023 and it was not until January 27 of the same year that the pharmaceutical has issued a statement in this regard.
According to the Pfizer statement, allegations have recently been made regarding gain-of-function research and directed evolution at Pfizer.
According to the statement, In developing the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer has not conducted any research on gain-of-function or directed evolution. Working with collaborators, we have conducted research using the original SARS-CoV-2 virus to express the spike protein of new variants of concern.
This work is being carried out after public health authorities have identified a worrisome new variant. This research allows us to quickly assess the ability of an existing vaccine to induce antibodies that neutralize a newly identified variant. We then publish this data in peer-reviewed scientific journals and use it as one of the steps to determine if a vaccine update is needed.
In addition, to meet US and global regulatory requirements for our oral treatment, PAXLOVID, Pfizer is conducting in vitro work to identify potential resistance mutations to nirmatrelvir, one of the two components of PAXLOVID.
