The award to this company reveals that between 2022 and 2023 86,000 pesos per day will be invested in ice cubes. Spending in a month is 2.6 million pesos in bags of ice of 5 kilos.
“In each of the departments and dependencies in which the work is carried out or in its immediate vicinity, the employer will provide drinking water in adequate tanks with glasses, hygienic drinking fountains and the necessary amount of ice for cooling the water, or cooler-heater. electrical water supply where permitted by safety regulations. In times of heat or cold, they will provide the equipment required to maintain a convenient and healthy temperature in the workplace”.
“For the execution of this first contract, the supply of water in 20-liter containers is contemplated, placed in displays and dispensers provided by the contractor, as well as 500 and 1,500-milliliter bottles,” explained Pemex.
