Panasonic’s North American subsidiary has just introduced two new lines of black compact solar panels from the EverVolt range. We are talking about the HK Black Series of 430 W and 420 W respectively.
The new panels panasonic with half-cut cells and heterojunction technology with gapless connections, they have been presented at RE+ 2022, the largest energy event in North America.
These new photovoltaic modules become the most powerful in the company’s catalogue. The new modules EverVolt VK Black Series 430W and 420Wadd to the suite of Panasonic modules made with passive emitter rear contact (PERC) technology, and provide users with a greater variety of solar options at a more affordable price.
420W and 430W modules deliver at least 92% power output after 25 years of use
The 430W and 420W EverVolt HK Black Series modules have efficiency of 22.2% and 21.7% respectivelyallowing high levels of energy output to be used while taking up less space on the roof.
Low degradation, heat resistance
Additionally, homeowners can benefit from increased energy production throughout the day, even on the hottest days in the hottest climates. This is thanks to module temperature coefficient of 0.26% per degree.
With one of the lowest annual degradation rates in the industry, expect Panasonic panels to continue to provide a power output of at least 92% after 25 years of use.
On the other hand, the new modules 400W and 390W VK Black SeriesManufactured with half-cut cells and PERC technology, they have a module efficiency of 20.5% and 20% respectively, as well as a power output of at least 84.8% after 25 years.

“With more than 40 years of experience in the solar industry and more than a century of innovation, Panasonic is well positioned to be a long-term partner for eco-conscious homeowners.whether they are considering solar solutions for the first time or looking to upgrade their current system,” says Mukesh Sethi, director of solar and energy storage for Panasonic Eco Systems North America.
“We continue to develop and bring to market new solutions so that our valued installers are equipped with a wide range of wattage, size and price options to grow your business and meet the diverse needs of consumers who rely on your expertise.”
Both new models are covered by warranty EverVolt AllGuard All System from Panasonic when purchased with EverVolt ESS 2.0, which covers solar panels and battery storage when combined.
EverVolt’s AllGuard All System Warranty covers product performance and labor on all major system components, including 25 years coverage for Panasonic solar panels; 25 years for the racking system; 10 years for the inverter and 10 years for the Panasonic EverVolt® 2.0 ESS.
Both series of modules will be available in the spring 2023although it remains to be seen if they will do it only in North America or also in more other regions of the world.
