As if things weren’t bad anymore.
That 2021 has not been the year of Activision Blizzard everyone knows, this being the year in which the American company has seen how all the dirty laundry derived from the directive and the senior officials of its different studios was brought to light . However, leaving aside business controversies, to make matters worse, many of its major projects have been delayed or in danger of cancellation, this being what has happened with Overwatch 2.
In that sense, there are many who are looking forward to the launch of this sequel at the same time that many others do not understand its development with the consequent abandonment of the first installment, especially if we take into account that key names of the study such as Jeff Kaplan left the project. All that being said, you may fans take other blows, since Overwatch 2 would be suffering a downgrade on purpose.
Reach more audiences by sacrificing game quality
This is a rumor that comes from the BixelsWixels account on Twitter, who has compared three screenshots comparing the two Overwatch titles, this user highlighting that details in the character design would have been removed, assuming this user that this downgrade is due to the fact that the game can move more fluidly on mobile devices such as iOS and Android, these being two platforms in which, for the moment, the arrival of the title has not been announced.
However, BixelsWixels himself points to evidence that indicates otherwise, since the Overwatch team would have a manager for projects on smartphones. However, it should be noted that everything commented by this user and any other is based on rumors and speculation, so until official confirmation will have to take this with tweezers. Be that as it may, below you have the tweet in question:

In the same way, it should not be overlooked that this simplification of details could be due to an early version of the title development. Time will tell, although, for the moment, it can only be said that Currently Overwatch 2 is still in development.
