Both characters will feature numerous changes in the sequel.
After introducing Sojourn as a new hero in a new trailer, Overwatch 2 has now featured Orisa and Doomfist redesignswhich join the new look at Soldier 76. Thus, in the first place Doomfist has been presented as a tank, something that had been rumored for months and has now been confirmed revealing that it will have up to 450 health points.
In the Overwatch sequel, doomfirst It will have a movement called Power Block, which will serve to block damage, which will then activate its Rocket Punch, which only requires a second to fully charge, inflicting 15 to 30 points of impact damage and 20 to 40 damage points per wall hit. The powered up version deals even more damage while Doomfirst moves faster. On the other hand, there will be a movement to slow enemies, while the meteor movement has been reduced.
As to Orisha, the changes are greater, losing the movements like Protective Barrier. In fact, the character can now stun and knock down enemies, being more effective when it comes to hitting. Fusion Driver will now have more power and will fire large projectiles that start to shrink. Among other changes, the character will attack with a cooldown mechanic instead of ammo, while strengthening the character will increase 125 temporary health points. It also highlights a new Ultimate move.
Overwatch 2, announced for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, still does not have a release date. However, the start of its closed beta on April 26 indicates that the development of the game is finally advanced, which gives players hope to prepare to enjoy the sequel in the near future.
