Oppo is celebrating INNO Day, an event where they showcase their latest innovations and new devices. One of the most interesting products is the new Oppo X 2021, its first mobile with an extendable screen.
The device has a maximum 6.7-inch OLED panel that expands to 7.4 inches. So that it can go from being a terminal with a standard size in the high range, to a tablet just under 8 inches with the aim of having more content on the screen.
Unlike other folding mobiles, such as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Oppo X 2021 has a rolling system. Inside it has a mechanism that is responsible for curving the panel on one of the edges and hiding the remaining part of the screen in the lower area, so that it does not bend when it is stored.
In addition, it is also possible to adapt the screen size. In this way, it will not always be necessary to go from 6.7 to 7.4 inches. We can upload a little more than 6.7 if we want to open two applications at the same time or see a video in full screen.
The Oppo X 2021 has been announced as a concept mobile. The Chinese company has not given more details about this terminal, but given the name it is likely that it will go on sale in 2021 or even later. Of course, it will not be cheap.
