One Piece is one of the longest-running anime and manga series, so it also has an amazing cast of characters. And we have seen how on more than one occasion they have shown their unique abilities and managed to take them further, this time, we We will enter the special sword of Roronoa Zoro.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that this article will contain spoilers, if you do not want to ruin your experience or you are taking advantage of the break in the manga to keep up to date, take precautions, and that is that Zoro is a member of the Straw Hat Pirates and one one of the most beloved characters in this saga.
Roronoa Zoro is a phenomenal swordsman, but it wasn’t until One Piece’s Wano arc that he ended up taking the biggest step towards his dream of becoming the world’s greatest swordsman, and all of that came through the sword he once belonged to the legendary Kozuki Oden – Enma.
Created by none other than the legendary blacksmith Shimotsuki Kozaburou, Enma is one of the 21st grade O Wazamono swords in existence in the world. His creator forged his sword when he was in Wano and until the day of his death, he remembered this sword as his greatest creation.

According to the smith, Enma is a sword whose disposal is deadly serious. Just holding this majestic blade in his hand sent chills down his spine, proving just how powerful this sword truly was.
Enma is a special sword, and unlike any other sword seen in the series, it drains Haki from the user’s body. For any average samurai, holding Enma for just a few minutes would mean death. However, for expert users, Enma is a weapon that can only increase in power once they have mastered it.
Being Kozaburou’s greatest creation, Enma ended up becoming a sword with tremendous power and gained a reputation for being able to cut to the bottom of hell, another indication of his ferocious powers. Kozaburou named this sword Enma as it has the power of the King of the Underworld.
Only the truly powerful can conquer this sword, as it is extremely difficult to master. That said, taming this sword is easier said than done. For Zoro, taming Enma took a long time, and even after his days of training before the Fire Festival and the Onigashima Raid, he couldn’t fully understand his abilities.
After finally allowing Enma to absorb as much Haki as possible, Zoro was finally able to take the next big step as a swordsman and defeat even someone as strong as King of the Beast Pirates, a man worth a $1,390,000,000 bounty.
