In addition to its 31 projects currently in development, Marvel Studios is working on how to introduce the long-awaited X-Men to the franchise. Although rumors point to projects like The Mutants, a film already in development from the mutant franchise is Deadpool 3 by Ryan Reynolds.
Although it has not yet been officially announced, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige hopes to continue the story of the loudmouth mercenary among the best stories in the MCU after two wildly successful solo installments with 20th Century Fox. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin Writers for the hit animated series Bob’s Burgers have been hired to write the script, but no further details on the cast or story are known yet.
The school has experienced a slight controversy with the creator of DeadpoolRob Liefeld, who has some concerns about future releases of the franchise, although now he seems excited to see what happens with his creation in the MCU. He recently shared that he has information on what’s to come in the MCU’s first Deadpool movie, though he made it perfectly clear that he can’t say anything.
Marvel Studios snipers
In an appearance in the NYCC this weekend via SyFy, the creator of DeadpoolRob Liefeld talked about Marvel Studios’ plans for Deadpool 3 When asked by a fan if he could share any details about the trequel, Liefeld said he could share everything he knows about it before asking the public about Marvel snipers that so often are they mentioned:
“Oh, of course. Let me share everything I know about Deadpool 3! Where is the sniper who is going to shoot me? He followed up that comment by admitting that “Would love to tell” to fans what you really know, but what you can’t “Because (he values his) life”.
Deadpool 3 It is becoming one of the most anticipated films from Marvel Studios thanks to Ryan Reynolds’ portrayal of the character, especially when the mutants officially join the MCU.
By agreeing with others involved with Marvel Studios, Liefeld clearly understands how important it is to keep those details under wraps until the time is right. Even considering Liefeld’s role in bringing Deadpool to life three decades ago, Marvel Studios is keeping details of its future productions under wraps by whatever means necessary.
Currently, Ryan Reynolds for obvious reasons is the only cast member confirmed to be in Deadpool 3, with several performers from previous films such as Karan Soni and Zazie Beetz not sure if they will get a chance to reprise their roles. Deadpool 3 is currently in the early stages of development for Marvel Studios so it’s still too early to have more information on it, so stay tuned for cinemascomics.
