One of the brands that faster updates their phones to each new version of Google’s operating system, is usually Nokia. Just as he hastened to release Android 9 Pie for the different phones in his catalog, it seems that he has also taken a run with Android 10.
According to the roadmap that made HMD Global public, three would be the models that would receive the new version of Android. And so it was: Nokia 8.1, Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 7.1 already have Android 10. Now that we have just released the new year, it is the turn of the next batch, and the first lucky one is the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
With the December security patch
HMD Global announced the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus in August 2018 and launched them on the market with Android 8 Oreo on board, although the second one received Android 9 Pie a few months later, in October of that year. Now the company has announced through its Twitter profile that the update to Android 10 is now available globally.
As reported by NokiaPowerUser, the update has already begun to be implemented in Nokia 6.1 Plus devices worldwide and brings with it the Android security patches corresponding to December 2019. With this, HMD Global has fulfilled its promise to offer two updates of the Android operating system to the device, although the phone will continue to receive security updates for another year.
