It is always scary to enter a hospital, even for a happy reason: THE BIRTH OF YOUR SON!

It is normal that you have a lot of doubts: do not be afraid to ask the doctor or nurses, because remember that your days in the hospital are for you to rest and get used to your child. Here are some tips to relax in the most common conflict situations.
FEAR OF PAIN: It is normal for you to feel anguish over the pain of childbirth, but most mothers report that they forgot all the pain as soon as they had their child in their arms. If you are afraid of pain, both in childbirth and in the following days, it is advisable that you tell the professionals in the hospital and that you resolve any doubts that arise with the anesthesiologists.
BREASTFEEDING: At first it is not easy to breastfeed a newborn. You probably don’t know what position to put yourself in (the nurse will tell you how to do it), maybe your chest will swell and you will have pain or the baby will fall asleep as soon as he starts to eat, or ask again after 15 minutes … Expert tip: try to be calm, relaxed and in a comfortable posture, preferably with your back supported.
INFORMATION OVERDOSAGE: Your mother, mother-in-law or aunts will all give you advice on how to breastfeed, how to change her diaper, bathe her … this amount of information, especially for new moms, could confuse you and increase your anxiety. If you have any concerns, do not hesitate to go to the pediatrician.
TOO MANY VISITS: Try to alternate visits so that you and your newborn can rest. Have a positive attitude and try to make the most of those days in the hospital when your only obligation is to recover and enjoy the baby.
REST NEED: It will be greater if you do a C-section. You will have added stress, derived from your time in the operating room, especially if the surgical intervention was not scheduled and they were performed as an emergency. Fortunately, the time you stay in the hospital is getting shorter and shorter. The habitual thing in natural childbirth is 48 hours and, in case of caesarean section, they usually do not exceed four days.
BABY SEPARATION
Although everything has turned out great, in most hospitals, they separate your baby from you for a pediatric examination. Just because they take you to bring the little one does not mean that there is a problem. During the hospital stay, it is also common for the nurse to take your child to the nursery to clean the cord or bathe him. If you wish, the baby can spend the night with you in the room. Perhaps this way you will feel much calmer, having it close and, in addition, that way you can feed it every time the child demands it, from the beginning.
