Nicolas Cage seeks to get rid of the thorn of belonging to the history of DC Comics, and the actor already has in mind playing one of the strangest Batman villains
Nicolas Cage still has a pending issue in his career, and that is to play a DC Comics character, specifically a Batman villain.
Although in the 90s the winner of the Oscar for Best Actor in 1996 could not carry the mantle of Superman, Nicolas Cage already has in mind to play a nemesis that few remember.

“The villain that Vincent Price played in the 60’s series, Egghead… I think I want to try Egghead”
Egghead was created expressly for the 1960s series, to give actor Vincent Price a cameo role. This villain had a high degree of intelligence and had an unusual fixation on chicken eggs, his crimes involving the use of eggs.
Compared to the Vincent Price version, Nicolas Cage wants to give a dramatic turn to this villain who appeared in the comics in Batman: Shadow of the Bat #3 (August, 1992)
“I think (Egghead) I can make him absolutely terrifying. And I have a concept for Egghead. So let Warner Bros know, I’m going with Egghead”.

Batman: Year One; a masterpiece that SMASH and DC Comics Mexico bring to you
In 1986, Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli produced this groundbreaking take on the origin of Batman: who he is and how he came to be. Sometimes careless and naive, this Dark Knight is far from the impeccable vigilante he is today.
In his first year on the job, Batman moves through a much darker Gotham City than the one he left. His solemn oath to extinguish crime from the city is only half the battle. Along with Lieutenant James Gordon, the Dark Knight must also battle a police force more corrupt than the scum of the streets.
SMASH and DC Comics Mexico bring you DC Essential Editions: Batman Year One. The masterpiece of Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli, in a new exclusive SMASH edition.
