It’s only two months until Dexter returns to the small screen. After a finale that completely disappointed fans, Showtime decided to give this once-successful fiction another shot. In this way, Michael C. Hall will return as the murderer, in a special season that will be called Dexter: New blood.
As we enter the final account, Showtime released a final trailer that is responsible for generating many expectations regarding the return of Dexter. That said, the new trailer shows us a “Monster in evolution”. The new season of Dexter can be seen on Movistar + from November 8, and will have a total of 10 episodes. In this opportunity, we will see Michael C. Hall re-incarnate the character, but now we will meet a completely new man who lives without killing. However, that tranquility that resides so much in him will begin to fade and we will see how everything gets complicated when he discovers that there is a serial killer in the area where he lives.
On the other hand, the new Dexter preview shows us that the character will face a new nemesis. It is about a man who is in control of the town he lives in, and is played by Kurt Caldwell. In addition, the protagonist will receive a visit from his son Harrison, who is now played by Jack Alcott, and was abandoned a decade ago.
Returns in the series
Dexter has some big surprises in store for fans. One of them is that Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow will return to fiction. With regard to Jennifer, the actress will once again put herself in Deb’s shoes and will be the new voice in Dexter’s head who embodies his Dark Passenger.
