Announcement season for the video game industry isn’t complete without a Nintendo Direct, and this time Nintendo has prepared one focused on its third-party partners with games coming to the Nintendo Switch within the next year. One of those games is PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PACa remake that will arrive on consoles and PC on August 26, 2022.
PAC-MAN WORLD is a game that originally came to the first PlayStation in 1999 and is a family adventure platformer in 3D. In the plot of the game, PAC-MAN’s family has been kidnapped, so the yellow ball must rescue them from Ghost Island. Take a look at the trailer below. Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase.

This new version of PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC will feature improved gameplay that makes it more intuitive, as well as updated visuals and a broader view of the action thanks to new resolutions. PAC-MAN WORLD features six worlds that are back in their definitive version.
PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC is going to have two main game modes: Quest Mode is the main game mode where we see the story of PAC-MAN rescuing his family from ghosts, while Maze Mode is a mode more similar to the original PAC-MAN, in which we play a collection of 3D mazes.
This is not the first time that Bandai Namco has announced a remake or collection in a Nintendo Direct, as in February they announced the Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series, which will arrive in July on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC. PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC will also be coming to all of these platforms.
