A few days ago Philips presented an interesting portable projector for home theater applications called PicoPix Max TV that promised to offer diagonals of up to 120 inches with Full HD resolution, integrated battery and Android TV operating system.
Parallel to this model, the manufacturer has also announced the arrival of an additional projector, the Philips GoPix 1, this time in ultra-compact format and whose mission is that we can easily move it to any part of the house to improvise a giant screen of up to 75 inches where to display the contents of the mobile or a PC.

The Philips GoPix 1 has dimensions of 78.2 x 120 x 18 mm with just over 245 grams of weight and is based on DLP projection technology with chip from Texas Instruments and LED light source manufactured by Osram that promises an average life of up to 20,000 hours.
Although it supports 1080p video sources, the real native resolution of the equipment does not even reach 720p and it remains a bit short for these dates 854 x 480 pixels, enough if we want to quickly show a photo or document in a big way, but not if our aspirations are the maximum clarity or to see cinema.
The maximum diagonal of 75 inches will offer a 600: 1 contrast and according to the specifications we will have an integrated 3-watt sound system as well as a battery of 3,600 mAh that promises up to 2 hours of autonomy in Eco mode.
Connectivity is in charge of a dual USB-C ports, one for upload and another video, as well as a HDMI port for external sources.

The Philips GoPix 1 projector comes with a remote control, tripod, USB-C and HDMI video cables and will go on sale in Europe on November 20 for a price of 299.99 euros.
