    Instagram is one of the most popular social networks. used worldwide, where, according to Hootsuite data, it has more than 1.47 million users globally, its main audience being people between 18 and 34 years of age.

    Likewise, the statistics platform points out that Instagram it has approximately 1 billion monthly active users, that is why it is one of the most popular social networks in the world.

    The new changes of Instagram

    This Tuesday, Instagram, the social network owned by Meta, announced new features to help people communicate and share content with their friends within the platform.

    As mentioned by the platform, “Notes” is a new way to share thoughts and see what different friends are doing through short text messages.

    With this tool, users can leave a note to anyone who follows them or just to the list of Best Friends (Close Friends).

    Likewise, this new option can be displayed at the top of the inbox of the selected group of people for 24 hours. With this feature now available, responses people make to those notes appear as direct messages in your social network inbox.

    Another new tool that comes to the photo platform of Goal is to be able to invite friends with the ‘Your turn’ sticker, which consists of users being able to invite a friend whom one thinks would like to participate in that activity.

    Instagram, for its part, indicates that this function is currently in testing, but it will surely arrive in the not too distant future.

    Let’s remember that since Instagram introduced the ‘Your turn’ sticker in Stories last year, the application has understood how the tool can help inspire people to share moments spontaneously and creatively.

    In that sense, This new feature makes it easy to organize and co-create collections of saved posts to share with friends, helping users of the social network share common interests.. They can find all the collections in the shared media section of the chat rooms.

    For its part, as another privacy tool, Meta’s social network will also begin the implementation of a system in which users are allowed to know the status of their account and if it has been affected by the shadowban application.

    According to the statement made in the official blog of the application, this function will be specifically oriented to people who manage professional accounts so that they can understand more about the status of the content that is published on their profiles.

    “We’ve expanded Account Status so users understand when their content is eligible to be recommended to non-followers and what they can do about it,” the statement read.

    Meta’s social network is not the only one that is making changes to its functions, as this Tuesday it was also announced that WhatsApp is working on the new presentation of its messages.
