The behind-the-scenes footage on the set of The batman they show Matt Reeves directing Robert Pattinson as the crusader in the cape.
Ben Affleck was supposed to write and direct The batman, starring his DCEU version of Bruce Wayne / Batman, but was dropped due to a multitude of reasons. The writer and director Matt reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes) was chosen to replace him, and instead of continuing with the version of Affleck in the studio they decided on a reboot that explored the early years of the Dark Knight with Robert Pattinson bringing the character of Dc comics.
Inspired by two of the best Batman works such as Year one Y The long Halloween, The Batman will see his character become the “World’s Greatest Detective” while fighting Paul Dano’s Riddler. Character who has not appeared in a movie since Batman forever 1995. This version will be much darker than the one used with the Jim Carrey version incarnate.
Robert Pattinson and Paul Dano star in the film alongside Jeffrey Wright’s curator Jim Gordon, Andy Serkis’ Alfred Pennyworth, John Turturro’s Carmine Falcone, Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman and Colin Farrell’s Penguin. In addition, it is rumored that in The Batman Two faces and the Joker are mentioned or appeared on the scene.
