It was yesterday when Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo presented the first trailer for Wild Hearts, his new Monster Hunter-like game developed by Omega Force (Dynasty Warriors) and which represents an unprecedented collaboration in the video game industry. Now we have been able to meet new wild hearts details thanks to an interview that the directors of Koei Tecmo, Kotaro Hirata and Takuto Edagawa, have granted to the IGN portal and in which they have reviewed how the development of their new game has been and what we can expect from it when it reaches stores around the world in February of next year.
“This project started as an attempt to create a japanese style hunting game so that a new generation of players from all over the world could enjoy with it. We were informed by our experience developing hunting games, specifically the Toukiden series. We wanted Wild Hearts will appeal to a more global audience than Toukiden. As a Japanese-style game, Wild Hearts has things in common with Toukiden as you hunt in both. But the battle system, the setting and the visual presentation are different from Toukiden”, those responsible for the game have begun by saying in relation to how much it is different from or similar to that other great classic saga.
This is what Wild Hearts looks like, the monster hunting game from Electronic Arts and Koei Tecmo
Regarding the resemblance of the game to others like Fortnite or Monster Hunterthis is what its creators have to say: “The crafting system called Karakuri expands the freedom and possibilities of combat hunting and exploration in this game, so differs from the Fortnite crafting address, which allows the creation of large structures”, they point out. “Players can not only speed up, jump, slide and other actions required in today’s action games, but they can take their actions further by making use of the Karakuri system. On the other hand, the Kemono, which are a fusion of nature and animals, they can hunt players with a wide variety of attacks that real animals cannot carry out, ”they comment when compared to Monster Hunter. Remember that Wild Hearts arrives on February 17th to Xbox Series X|S and other platforms.
