Nissan improves and at the same time simplifies the Nissan Micra range for 2021. It does so by adding small aesthetic touches, restructuring the equipment variants and the options included in each case, and with some improvement in the engine to increase efficiency.
Only a 1.0 gasoline engine
The only available engine is the 1.0 gasoline 3-cylinder. Nissan does not clarify whether from December, when the new model will go on sale, it will be possible to continue choosing between two power versions depending on the finish, with 100 or 117 hp, as it continues to appear in the brand’s configurator with versions that are currently in stock. All it says is that the engine has been revised with a torque curve that improves response at low revs, and that emissions and fuel consumption have also been improved.
As for the trim versions, the new N-Design version is now added to the Visia, Acenta and Tekna levels, which is placed in the range just below the N-Sport, which has been a great success so far.
New version of N-Design finish
This N-Design finish allows you to choose between glossy or chrome finishes for the trims and the rear-view mirror caps, in addition to having newly designed 16-inch alloy wheels. The interior is characterized by black seats with gray details and the dashboard and doors covered in a leather-like material. You can also opt for a striking orange color.
N-Sport- trimmed Nissan Micras feature 17-inch wheels, full LED headlights and fog lights, glossy black exterior trims, and ergonomically designed Alcantara-trimmed seats. For the “techno-addicts”, the Tekna version includes the 360-degree camera and the Bose Personal audio system. From the Acenta finish, all Nissan Micras have the standard safety package, which integrates automatic high beams , traffic sign recognition, intelligent lane change control and an anti-collision system with pedestrian recognition.
