The battle for the valley continues and Netflix has just confirmed the premiere date of season 4 of its hit series ‘Cobra Kai’ as part of its TUDUM presentation, with a new trailer in front of the teaser that was released a few weeks ago. ‘Karate Kid’ sequel series to officially return for final season Friday, December 31.
The final season will reunite two old enemies
The fourth season of the YouTube series With New Home on Netflix will showcase an incredible team. Set 30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Cobra Kai continues the story of Daniel La Russo (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), two enemies joining forces to fuse Miyagi-Do and Eagle Fang to defeat Cobra Kai at All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament, putting aside their differences.
However, now it will be Daniel’s daughter, Samantha (Mary Mouser) and Johnny’s protégé, Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), who will try to maintain the alliance of the dojo and meanwhile, Johnny’s son, Robby (Tanner Buchanan) will represent Cobra Kai with John Kreese (Martin Kove) at the helm. The success of the fight will be determined by the ability of Daniel and Johnny to work together or not.
‘Cobra Kai’ is written and produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg. Other executive producers include Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, Susan Ekins, Macchio, and Zabka. Along with Macchio, Zabka, Maridueña, Mouser, and Buchanan, the cast of season four includes Courtney Henggeler, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List, among others.
