Netflix published this Thursday the trailer for his new docuseries Madoff: The Wall Street Monster which will be released on January 4, 2023.
The series reveals the truth behind Bernie Madoff’s infamous $64 billion global Ponzi fraud, the largest in history, which shattered the lives of countless individual investors who had placed their trust in the revered Wall Street statesman.
“With unique access to whistleblowers, employees, investigators and victims, and never-before-seen video statements from Madoff himself, this four-part docu-series traces Madoff’s rise from humble beginnings to one of the world’s most influential power brokers. on Wall Street,” Netflix said in a statement.
This financial thriller was directed by the prolific filmmaker Joe Berlingerresponsible for programs such as Conversations with a Killer, crime scenes Y Brother’s Keeper.
Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street it reveals a cadre of co-conspirators and a financial system riddled with institutions that were willing to turn a blind eye to suspicious behavior.
