Just a month before its premiere on the platform, Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for ‘The Adam Project’the new science fiction adventure starring Ryan Reynolds.

This new Netflix original film marks a new collaboration between Reynolds and shawn levy after ‘Free Guy’. Although we can also expect strong doses of science fiction and action in ‘The Adam Project’it seems that the adventure will have a more familiar tone and closer to the adventure movies of the 80s.
‘The Adam Project’ premieres next March 11th on the streaming platform, with a cast led by RYan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Zoe Saldana, and Walker Scobell. The story revolves around Adam Reed, a pilot who has an accident and is sent back in time. Specifically to 2022, when he was just a 12-year-old boy.
His 12-year-old self isn’t having his best moment either, having problems at school and dealing with his father’s disappearance.
As we can see in the trailer, the adult Adam crashes near his old home. It is still not very clear what has led Adam to travel back in time or what his ultimate goal is, but both embark on a space adventure that will lead them to reunite with their lost father and fix some messes.
The first reactions to ‘The Adam Project’ They have already been arriving on the networks and their adventure tone has been praised with the elements of action, comedy and emotions together that promises a flash of nostalgia for all those who long for this type of family film.
Levy already has experience successfully pulling off these “80s vibes,” having served as director and producer on “Stranger Things,” also for Netflix. Reynolds and Levi are producing ‘The Adam Project’ with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger, from a screenplay by Jonathan Tropper, TS Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin.
