Crypto Scammer Documentary Is Inspired By DON’T F*CK WITH CATS-Style Investigative Thriller And People Already Seem To Be Hooked On Release. a Twitter user wrote:
“I saw him tonight in the gym. I’m only halfway there, but it’s already crazy: The biggest scare is faking death with Crohn’s, really?! You don’t have to be a doctor to know that Crohn’s disease rarely leads to death.”
Another expressed a similar opinion and said:
“What a crazy story. Dig up that grave!”
A user who had allegedly used the QudrigaCX exchange back in the day claimed that he sniffed out the suspicious behavior very early on and withdrew the money on time.. After watching the documentary, he wrote:
“I had a lot of coins on that exchange. But one day I noticed something strange in the way operations were managed. Having set up the Bloomberg systems for AIMCO, I had a good feeling about how these exchanges should work. At that time I withdrew all the coins.”
Although the documentary is quite attractive and does not require anyone to have knowledge of cryptocurrencies to understand it, many in the cryptocurrency community who have closely covered the story or were affected by the exchange crash found it quite satisfying.
Mike Oltoff, founder and CEO of Coin card, he claimed that many of his friends made a cameo appearance in the documentary, including himself:
“It is very strange to see a group of my friends in a documentary, but they all did very well! It’s funny, I also have a cameo in this documentary in the background of one of the videos about Patryn.
Conspiracy theories about the founder faking his death to pocket millions of dollars of customers’ cryptocurrencies resonated with most viewers.
