Naughty Dog would be hiring new staff to create teams for the creation of new games in the Uncharted saga.
Uncharted is one of the most successful and recognized PlayStation IP in recent generations. Since it was born with Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune on PS3, deliveries have not stopped succeeding each other and getting the favor of critics and the public. However, with the arrival of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, it seemed that an era ended, that of Nathan Drake, on PlayStation consoles. A situation that could change soon, since Naughty Dog appears to be recruiting staff to carry on the Uncharted legacy.
In recent months there have been various rumors and information pointing in this direction, but this time the new details come from the Californian company itself. To be more specific, from one of your recruitersChristina-Marie Drake McBrearty, who has shared on LinkedIn that the footprint company is looking for new members to join the team and “carry on the legacy of Uncharted”. Therefore, it seems that Naughty Dog wants to continue adding new adventures to the PS5 catalog with their favorite bounty hunters, although it seems unlikely that Nate will be the protagonist of these new installments again.
“It’s even more special to be able to create future teams not only for new titles, but for the Uncharted legacy., which is very personal and specific to me and my family. Being related to Sir Francis Drake, the Uncharted saga is very personal and I am very honored to work with those who have brought aspects of our family history to life”, Drake McBrearty completed in his publication. It should be remembered that Naughty Dog is one of the flagships of the PlayStation brand and that, at the moment, has three unannounced projects on the way.One of them aims to be the more than rumored remake of The Last of Us, while there is also talk of a new IP. wait to see if the third is the The Last of Us Part II multiplayer or if work has already started on these new installments of Uncharted.
