The director of Ms Marvel Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has announced that, because Disney+ is not yet available in Pakistan, The Walt Disney Company and Marvel Studios have decided to release the television series through theaters in the country.
The plan will be to release all six episodes of the series in cinema format, releasing them in three parts in theaters across Pakistan over several weeks, with the first two episodes arriving on Thursday June 16, the next two on Thursday June 30. and the last two on Thursday, July 14. This will be the first time that Marvel Studios premieres one of its series created for the Disney+ platform in a national theater.
For those wondering if Marvel will make this move in another country, the answer is no. The decision has been made to celebrate the introduction of Marvel’s first Pakistani female superhero, Kamala Khan, to the MCU.
