A NEW study ensures that the news about an inappropriate medical behavior and misconduct Come in doctors both in the consultation and in personal life and in social networks it is the order of the day.
Data obtained from a survey conducted by Medscape in Spanish between October 30 and December 17, 2021, to which 1,600 Spanish doctors responded, reflects somewhat surprisingly that almost two out of three believe that in the last 5 years this type of behaviors remains stable in both Workplace as outside of it. Only 14% and 18%, respectively, consider that it has increased in these areas.

More than half (52%) attribute these inappropriate behaviors to his own personality and arrogance, other reasons argued were: social acceptance of these behaviors, education, work overload. As well as personal problems not related to work.
A scene of habitual conflict for these behaviors constitute social networks. Where two out of three doctors are frequent users and one out of three refers to maintain a personal and work profile.
In the workplace, 61% believe that in the last five years these behaviors remain stable, one in four reports that they have decreased and only 14% say that they have increased. The most significant difference observed in terms of gender and age was that almost one in 3 (32%) of those under 45 years of age indicated that these behaviors have decreased at work compared to 24% of those older than that age.
out of the labor sphere, 64% report that they have remained stable, 18% believe that they have increased compared to 17% who report that they have decreased.
Two thirds report being currently in the social mediawith a notable greater presence of those under 45 (77% compared to 64%).
Two out of three report having a personal profile only (70% in women compared to 55% in men), while almost a third maintain two profiles: personal and professional.
