It seems that MultiVersus is doing very well. The game is fun, as we told you in our analysis, and that adds to a very important aspect to take into account when we talk about player figures: It’s free. The data is fat: MultiVersus has managed to attract more than 10 million players in three weeks.
Its official launch took place on July 26, although a few days before, on July 19, it came out in a closed beta phase and from that moment on it began to amass players. As I write these lines, the tracker.gg page offers a total counter of 10,520,685 players for MultiVersus spread across PC and consoles, which gives us an average of just over 3,000,000 new players per week during this period.
Warner Bros. has not yet confirmed these figures, but what tracker.gg does is directly access the game’s API and take a look at its leaderboards, where all the players who have played a game are, to collect data and offer all kinds of statistics, so the data should be quite accurate.
Waiting for Season 1 of MultiVersus
Among other things, MultiVersus Season 1 will include the following:
- Rick and Morty as playable characters
- A new classic Arcade mode that can be played both solo and cooperatively
- A new ranked mode
- New cosmetic-type items
- A 50-tier battle pass
This first season of MultiVersus It was initially scheduled for August 9, but it was finally delayed and for now the company has not given information about the new date, so we have to wait a little longer.
